The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering containers/dumpster on a daily basis, ensuring that all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
The driver must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience and a good understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate and maneuver a commercial vehicle to deliver containers/dumpster to assigned destinations.
Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition.
Follow DOT regulations and company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and ensure that all required paperwork is completed and submitted on time.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure that all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
Provide excellent customer service to all clients and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CDL is preferred but not required Minimum of 5 years of driving experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
Good understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
