In this high-paced role, the Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Accounting, Controllers, and Accounting Team to create and present financial statements and reports.
This position is situated at our corporate headquarters in the sunny Palm Coast, Florida.
Our Field Support Team fosters a non-corporate atmosphere, with engaging activities such as Wellness Wednesdays, Holiday Parties, and even a Bring Your Dog to Work Day.

Managing Fixed Asset procedures, encompassing additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
Ensuring Capex Purchases align with CAR (Capital Appropriation Request) and verifying all requisite approvals.
Conducting weekly evaluations of Capex Actual Spend versus Budgeted Spend.
Handling monthly Vehicle Insurance Journal entries, allocating by branch counts.
Reconciling Fixed Asset in Process, Fixed Assets, and Accumulated Depreciation accounts.
Validating the monthly Gain/Loss on Disposal account, verifying payments and calculating gains/losses.
Supplying asset details for annual Vehicle & Inland Marine insurance renewals.
Aiding in determining fair market values for assets from new acquisitions.
Reconciling monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Processing journal entries and other relevant accounting transactions.
Supporting the company's monthly and yearly closing procedures.
Assisting in quarterly internal audits, particularly for CapEx, Inventory, and other relevant areas.
Collaborating in gathering, preparing, and reviewing annual external audit requests.
Participating in special individual or group projects as required.
Qualifications We Seek:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Audit, or Finance.
1-3 years of pertinent accounting experience.
Strongly preferred experience with Fixed Assets.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the General Ledger.
The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
